What Would I Do?

We need non-techies as much as we need techies. Varied possible work includes:

• Helping at events like freshers' fairs.
• Being a rep at your college to help promote the various services.
• Moderating content on the site to remove any invalid data and spam.
• Helping other students to use the services.
• Liasing with the many groups and societies who use MyPidge.com to field their views and get them using the site.
• Conducting live testing sessions with students to help make the site more usable and understandable for students.
• Designing the visuals.
• And writing code and fixing bugs is good too!

How Is It Organised?

It's a very open model:

• No rigid hierarchy or bureaucracy.
• Do as much or as little as you like.
• Choose which bits you want to work on.
• Generally, you'll be working with other people on a project.
• Work at your own pace.
• Only as much responsibility as you feel able to commit to.
• Providing feedback is needed and useful, but actually helping do something is infinitely better!
